Sharing Joy with the LaSalle Community

Good afternoon LaSalle Family,

With their permission, I want to share news from the Sudworth family, as many of you have already heard parts of this story but may not know the happy result. Many of you know Cayden Sudworth, 6th grader at LaSalle. Some of you may also know his older sisters, Hannah and Rebekah, who attended LaSalle almost a decade ago.

On Thursday of last week, Hannah was rushed to the hospital from her dorm room at Northwestern University with a significant inter-cranial bleed caused by an Arterial Venus Malformation. Thankfully, Hannah was on the phone with her wonderful mother, Deb, at the time when she was afflicted by symptoms and Deb was able to call for emergency help and get her to the hospital in time for emergency brain surgery, which was performed on Thursday evening.

I am thrilled to share that Hannah is recovering well, up and talking for brief periods of time. Her doctors and nurses can't believe how quickly she is recovering and hail her recovery as a 'miracle'.

Deb and Stephen are overwhelmed by the love the entire Sudworth clan have been shown during this incredibly difficult time. I know you all join me in sending your love and best wishes to Hannah and the entire Sudworth clan.

Come visit us soon Hannah....we can't wait to see you!!!

Love - LaSalle
