** LaSalle Parent Teacher Conference Sign-Up
------------------------------------------------------------

Hello LaSalle Parents,

Please see below for the link to the Wednesday, November 15th online sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences, for all Kindergarten through 4th grade classes. Similar to last year's sign-up, all teachers are listed in the same place and multiple time slots can be picked within seconds of each other. Once you pick a time slot, it will show up as 'unavailable' to other parents and you can move on to your next teacher.

Conferences will take place on Wednesday, April 18th from 11:00am to 6:00pm with a strictly enforced break for all staff from 2:30-3:30pm

Please note that 5th-8th Grade, World Language and Essentials are not included on this list. Because teachers have far more students than time slots available, the process for 5th-8th grades will remain the same as it has always been, with parents lining up to speak to the teachers they would like to meet as they become available. We hope to see you all there!

Please note also that Mr. Schuh, Ms. Torres, Ms. Venegas and Ms. Kist will be out of town, chaperoning our exchange students in Spain and Italy. If you would like to meet with one of these teachers to discuss your child's progress, please reach out to them to set up a separate appointment.

Thank you all for your involvement and support!

Please see the message below from student Eliana De Bates:

Greetings,

Spring is here you and know what that means! I would like to host my last Stand with Malala Schoola drive before graduating from LaSalle. For those who don’t remember, the Stand with Malala Schoola drive raises funds by selling the gently used clothes that are donated. The monies then go to guarantee girls in underdeveloped countries a K through 12th grade education. In order to be able to send appropriate clothing, each clothing must meet the criterias.

Remember all clothing that we receive must be freshly cleaned and should not be damaged in any way. Please don't send us anything with:

-Fading

-Pilling

-Stretched or misshapen fabric

-Stains or discoloration of any kind

-Odors

-Rips, holes, tears, snags or runs in the fabric

-Missing or damaged fasteners: buttons, zippers, ties, hooks, snaps, etc.

-Missing manufacturer’s tags

-Shrinkage

-Broken or stretched elastic in sleeves, waistbands, etc.

-Holes, scuff marks or worn-through areas in shoes and boots

-Decorations added after the item was purchased—including bedazzling, metal or rhinestone studs, fabric paints, embroidery, fringe, tie-dye or beading.

Depending on how many donations we receive, ideally on the 13th both the I Care about Eye Care drive and the Stand with Malala Schoola dive will come at a closing.

Thank you everyone for your cooperation and patients.
